Our 12 day Ayahuasca Retreats in the Amazon

The Maestras/os, Ayahuasca and the Master Plants

The Maestras and Maestros come to the Temple because they want to heal. They need sufficient time to work closely with each guest to effect lasting change. Deep energetic cleaning often takes time to slowly and carefully release heavy energies and remove energetic blockages. Our focus is to attempt to reach the root of the issues faced by our guests. For this reason, we hold 7 ceremonies over 12 days to enable our healers to have adequate opportunity to carry out their work. This level of healing work is typically not possible to achieve in 5 or less ceremonies. Our 12 day ayahuasca retreats are intense, deep and generally highly rewarding although we must be clear that true and lasting healing work is not always easy. It requires courage, patience and a strong will to bring about change in one's life.

We provide potent and visionary ayahuasca sourced from deep in the rainforest in the Shipibo territories. Our ayahuasca is made from 'cielo' (sky / heaven) ayahuasca and chacruna with no admixtures. The ceremonies led by our healers provide the greatest possible comfort, protection and support to participants. We provide personal attention and guidance throughout the workshop, consultations with the healers and regular group talks about the healing experiences and post ceremonies integration.

The way we work is very much according to Shipibo tradition, and the healers encyclopedic knowledge of medicinal plants (rao) which allows them to treat a wide range of conditions. In the Shipibo tradition, the healing process is very much focused on cleansing and purifying the energy field which surrounds us, niwe in their language. They do this through an ancient healing practices involving incredibly beautiful ikaros (songs of the plants), intense perfumes, individually prescribed plant remedies and powerful energetic work.

A 12 day ayahuasca retreat is the beginning of a much longer process and we see many people returning back each year to further their healing and journey of self-discovery. That said, much can be achieved and we have found from experience that 12 days offers a sufficient time to effect lasting change in peoples lives.

Our ayahuasca workshops are now generally fully booked at least within 3 months from their start date so we would advise you please book at least 12 weeks in advance. We cannot guarantee any booking without a deposit being received by us and are not liable for any flight costs that may have been incurred without confirming the workshop booking beforehand.

Payment Terms

Deposit 1,000.- US$
Final Installment 1,100.- US$ - 6 weeks before workshop

Transfering your payment in installments is for your convenience only. It is possible to pay the Workshop cost in one full amount if you prefer to save on transfer fees.

Terms and Advice

  • Please note that we rely heavily on the workshop fees to fund our NGO projects and fulfill our commitments to ongoing community based projects. For this reason, if you cancel, payments are non-refundable but can be credited to a future booking or transferred to a third party provided we have at least a 8 week notice.

  • For cancellations less than 8 weeks before the workshop we will only be able to credit your payment to a future date if we can fill your place on the workshop. We will try out best to do so.

  • A deposit of 1,000.- US$ is required to confirm your booking and we need to receive the full payment for your workshop at least 6 weeks before the start date to guarantee your reservation.
  • We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance for any cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. Squaremouth is an insurance service we can suggest that can cover not only retreat costs but the possibility to recover airfare costs too.

Please contact us for more information if our main workshops are fully booked and your travel dates are limited to specific times - we may still be able to offer you a place.
